Although I’ve bought dozens of marketing books I usually don’t bother to write a review however Matthews comments have forced my hand.
I’ve been email marketing for many years and I know how hard it has become to even get noticed above all the rubbish we all get in our inboxes.
The problem is that most people see email marketing as a one off tactic, sending a few emails in the hope that a few may get a response, but that doesn’t work anymore. Email marketing works when it is a thought out long term strategy. In fact it works brilliantly when this approach is taken. The problem is that takes time and expertise.
